Ronaldo Kosovo Aid Trip Postponed a Week

BRUSSELS Plans by Inter Milan striker Ronaldo to visit a school in war-ravaged Kosovo have been put back a week, a Belgian charity said on Saturday. "The reason for this last-minute delay is that Ronaldo's club, Inter Milan...wants to associate itself with this humanitarian gesture...and has asked for a couple of days to organize," Caritas secours international said in a statement.
Brazil international Ronaldo would now visit the school in Gjakove, which has been rebuilt as part of a United Nations Development Program, on September 27, rather than on Monday, it said. Caritas spokeswoman Ann van Bruseselen said she believed Inter Milan hoped to organize a plane to make Ronaldo's trip easier but full details should become known next week. (Reuter)
